One Company, Three Generations
Conrad Lavoie founded Conrad Lavoie & Fils Ltd. in Saint-Basile in 1966, with the support of his wife Thérèse. Over the years, this New Brunswick company grew larger and larger. When they reached the required age, their sons Jean-Yves, Danny and Philippe as well as their daughter Nicole (in administration) got involved. Their grandsons, Bruce and Jean-Benoît, eventually joined the family business as well. The company, which was incorporated in 1982, now employs approximately 40 people in addition to the members of the Lavoie family.
